New Student Orientation Overview

WELCOME TO 2009 NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION

Congratulations Undergraduate Class of 2013!!!

We are very excited to welcome you to your new home for next four years.   The staff of Student Affairs is committed to assisting you to begin your successful journey at Soka University of America (SUA).  The first step to your success is your participation in our Orientation Program!

We require your participation in Orientation to ensure that your transition to SUA is as smooth as possible. Moving to a new location or attending a new school means that there will be a number of changes in your life. Our Orientation Program provides you with the unique opportunity to preview your new environment, meet your classmates, and interact with the SUA faculty and staff.

Orientation is one of the first important steps in establishing your self as a member of the SUA community. It is a great opportunity to bond with your fellow classmates and find out what makes SUA a special place.

During this period, you will also have a Student Orientation Leader (SOL), whose experience as SUA’s upperclassmen will guide you in your process of transition. They are committed to help you in any way they can!
